my build diary begins
So Christmas day I was handed my book, and a Haynes v8 engine. needless to say I was well into the book before lunch iv checked and checked again read
and re read it.
iv had my welding lesson first 1 anyway and im told im pretty good for a newbie............... were see lol.
well the v8 was built and now sits in the kitchen on the microwave which is cool.
so steel is been collected Saturday from my teacher! and the fun can really begin.
im going mx5 route as a donor is cheap and cheerful
so before I set about butchering the steel what do I need to no?

Lots and lots and lots of welding practice to ensure full penetration and almost as important, enjoy yourself
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?
