Using iPhone for track day vids
Seen some impressive videos taken in car using an iPhone. I have an old one ( 3 GS ) but how best to mount it. There is a bewildering range of iPhone
mounts on the market but which would work best for dash top mounting and be track day compliant for security. Any advice welcome.

I cant help to much as I have not done it myself, i only use my phone for logging.
From the TDs I have done I know they are keen to see no suckers, hard mounting, 2nd tethers and an honest effort to do things properly.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Biggest problem will be wind noise. You'll need an external mic ran down to the footwell or behind seat.
If anyone knows of a good one for android phones, please share.

This is a good point. I used an old sony camera ( I thibk it was the one that captured the footage in my signature) and it had horrific wind noise. I
dismantled it and wired in a 2.5mm jack. I then used a chopped xbox360 headset mic. It sat on my fuel tank and picked up all the action!!
