Any ideas where you find who's booked in?

Me dad rung up and booked but haven't had any paperwork through yet!

Ours had better be 1 of those 4 Mk's!

Onli 5 Gears, puts you back on a level with the rest of us then

Cheers 4 the link, looks like were down as a Locost and not an Mk Indy but never mind.

Looks like there's gunna be some seriousley quick cars there!

Yeh there all bloody yellow aint they!

A quick question for those more experienced,

We usually run 195/50/15's for the road but were thinking of using the weathered looking ford 13"s for the track either from the Sierra donor, or a FWD Fiesta both 155's.

Can anybody forsee any problems?
Drastically different handeling, tires getting 2 hot if there a bit knacked already anything like that?

should be a good day, still a few places left, under the yorkshire locost owners club,if anyones interested,£95,for the day,if we fill 5 places or more,we all get a £5 back,if we fill 10 places we all get a £10 back,in true locost style
MR MK himself is even booked in(martin)so it should be a interesting day.
tony, we will have to get a parking area, for all the 7's,then we can help each other out if any of us have any problems.
pity we can't get miss Newark down,to do refreshments and a rub down at dinner time

steel 13s dont fit over rear discs, or the 260mm front discs on sportier models. Many had 240mm discs as standard though.

how particular are they about helmets on javelin track days?

i desperately want to go, but don't have a BS 6658 approved helmet as stated on the booking form. it is acu goldstar, but if they want to be an arse, they will no doubt be an arse.

does anyone know either way? might have to ring and see if they'll have a xxl for hire on the day.

cheers,
tom

ide love too do this one too but don't know what work will throw up, if there is a last minute spot available and i;m free will be there.

Hellfire - 5/7/05 at 09:29 PM

Still a few little bits and bobs to do before doing trackday. Should easily get them done before 16th July though. Only foreseeable problem is 105db noise limit. I've no idea how loud the this system is other than ear bleedingly loud.

As Chris has said I would not worry about helmets tom,Ive been on a few javelin track days I have never known them to check them, but just in case they also have loads to hire for a few quid.I have always found javelin to be very good with help and advise, they just want you to have a safe and fun day,and to come back, for more.Hope to see you there
cheers Paul
