2003 R1 Turbo?
johnny chimpo - 5/9/11 at 10:19 AM

Hi guys, im looking into the possibility of turboing my 2003 5pw R1'd MNR Vortx, but im struggling to find much detail on any turbo'd versions of my engine.

Does anyone know of any websites with information from people that have done the same conversion? I am also looking for an idea of the rough the costs to do this, what parts I would need to do it (i.e. what turbo, intercooler, manifold etc that people use).

Lastly what ecu would normally be used for this, is the standard ecu and power commander up to the job or would I need to swap them out for a standalone ecu?

Thanks for any help guys....

Came across these people on an idle google search the other day. Not a low cost route by any means but lots of info.

Could try Holeshot Racing. They have a fair bit of info on turbos for bikes/bike engined cars
