can someone give me the dimension from brake drum to brake drum for an escort axle, thanks, dave,

my escort axle was a good fit over a 4 foot wide sheet of ply, so 48 inches from backplate to backplate

0.25" shorter ???

dave M, is that on the outsides of brake drum (the wheel fitting face) ?

outside of the half shaft face that the drum and wheel fit up to.
