Standard conventions:
Indicators Green
Main beam blue
Oil pressure orange
Brake fluid Red (probably a legal requirement)
Fog light Red
I have a Neutral light which is green
I haven't bothered with the others.

1 Battery = Red, occationally amber
2 handbrake/brake fluid = Red with the symbol on the illuminated surface - IVA requirement
3 Indicators and hazards = Green (occationally amber on classics)
4 side lights = ?
5 main beam = Blue
6 Oil warning = Red, occationally amber
7 Fan over ride warning light = ?
4 and 7 I don't think have any common colour but I'd leave red and amber for more vital warnings.
It reminded me of my Mk1 Golf GTi (Lhasa Green, 1.8 with the 5-speed gearbox), why did I ever sell it? Awesome car.
It used LED's for the dash display, but the model came out in 1978 and the blue led hadn't been invented*, so the main beam used a yellow
one. It looked wrong.

*Pedant alert: blue LED invented in 1971, but not commercially practical for many years.
