I had your narrow high sided seats in my Westfield, which were superb. (Pic below) I now have sold the Westfield and have an Elise (sorry). Do you know whether your seats would fit into the Elise seat frame?

Mark. - 6/11/07 at 07:18 AM

HI phil,
The low sided seats have been fitted to the Elise, no pictures though sorry unless the fella has got any on his website and I can't see them....www.lmcorse.com

Mark

Chuffed you like the seats

Phil. S - 7/11/07 at 11:49 AM

Thanks Mark. I'll see if I can get some info from the guy. Then I just have to persuade my wife to let me have the seats. Hard job as she really loves the seats that are in it.

Just so no confusion and all that jazz..My Triton pasword has been reset by that diamond known as fozzie so will be Triton head on rather than the other one if that makes sense..?...Does to me but then I confuse myself everyday so nowt new. May just go to the Exeter show yet if I put the right head.

Hi Mark

Do you do any of your seats with gel-coating to the rear as well?

I've always liked GRP seats, but I've never been a fan of the the rough finish on the back.

Gel finish on the back would more or less mean two seat shells so twice the price really. Have toyed with the idea though.. .........BUT I can use surface tissue to give a much finer smoother finish for only a few bucks more and makes a big difference in a car where you can see the backs of the seats.

Do you have any photos showing the low and high back seats fitted in a car. I believe you previously had some orange seats for sale, what is the price of them.

flak monkey - 23/12/07 at 03:11 PM

For those wondering what the wizard hat seats are:

The are very comfortable, even my dad and girlfriend think they are ok!

David

PS Mark, does this mean I can finally have my seat inserts I never got?

Triton - 5/1/08 at 08:16 PM

Well it was LM Corse in Italy that had a pair for the Elise so guess they must the ones. Padding is self adhesive neoprene.

Apologies for being a novice but is it easy enought to get runners for these seats. Im the wrong side of 5'7" so have them bolted to the floor is not an option for other people to have a shot, especially for the wife who is 5'2". Also is it easy enough to modify them to take 6 point harnesses?

Cheers

Kenny

UncleFista - 9/1/08 at 01:08 PM

We used Rover Metro seat runners with our "fat boy" Triton seats

Easy job, just drill a couple of holes and they bolt right up.

Fozzie - 9/1/08 at 01:29 PM

Yep.....my road seats Cobra Cubs have 'low' runners....the runners fitted straight on to my Wide-Boys (Tritons) too
