roadrunner - 11/3/09 at 08:36 PM

Actually i am 37

bigrich - 11/3/09 at 08:37 PM

have you done it on engine size or declared it as a bike engine.

I had a similar quote last year, but they refused to do it at the low price as it was a BEC

Colnago_Man - 11/3/09 at 08:38 PM

Gonna tell us where from? A link maybe?

roadrunner - 11/3/09 at 08:38 PM

I did do it on engine size. Now you've got me worried.

Go back and check the form, Thats who,s online quote i used, I think bike engine is at the bottom of the drop down

Colnago_Man - 12/3/09 at 08:55 AM

£299 for me! 38 years old for a MK Bec.

roadrunner - 12/3/09 at 08:39 PM

I have just done a re-qoute and they make no reference to BEC's, so the qoute stands at £96, i even went right through to final payment without paying.

There is a deffinate reference to Bike Engine. its the first selection on the menu for engine size.

It alters my premium from 138 to 350 for the same cover, I would say if you take out the policy on engine size you may not be covered correctly if the worst was to happen.

It is tempting, but if you have a crash your b*****ed.

I'm not sure, whenever anyone asked me if there was any modifications to the car I'd say "not that I know of" in case I do crash it and they find it's got a turbo or something. If I didn't spot the part where it asked what type of engine it is then as far as I'm concerned the form was filled in correctly to the best of my knowledge...

But then with cars like these better be safe than sorry
