Phoned round a few insurance companies on Saturday and was getting quotes of £550 (Adrian Flux) and £490 (Graham Sykes).
I kept on getting told insurance companies don't like people who work in Motorsport and because I only have secure underground parking not an
individual garage that's the best they could do.
By the time I got round to quote rack they were closed so filled in the online form for a call back.
Although this meant I couldn't bring the Indy up to Sheffield on the best day of the year so far I'm glad I held out for quoterack. Got a
phone call this morning £198 fully comp with £400 excess that goes down to £200 as soon as I turn 25 in a couple of months.
Are they are fairly new company? I haven't heard of anyones experiences of dealing with them except for getting quotes.
im 25 in 3 months and my quote from flux was £579! spoke to gary at quote rack and he quoted me £250! get parts only insurance as its cheaper.
Turns out my insurance call back was actually from www.kitcarquote.co.uk - Colchester Insurance Centre
I phoned quoterack and they were actually cheaper at £185 and only £50 excess.
Not far off from CIC though so may be worth filling in the online form.
