Just got my insurance as have my SVA this week rang round the usual susspects including 2gether insurance but footman james came through on the following details

Driver just me 26
Vortx R1 limited to 3000 mile and vaue of £9500

FJ fully comp with £100 excess £176 inc breakdown
2gether fully comp £100 exess parts only insurce £245
Adrian flux fully comp £150 excess £385

so shows how unpredictable insurance is i was expecting 2gether to be the cheapest as they seem to be the in favor insurance

£176 with £100 excess fully comp sounds very reasonable to me considering the car/engine, your age and the agreed value.

Very similar premium to mine with FJ. I'm older and have a CEC but value and mileage are similar.

That seems to be a rather convenient excuse..... How can you be sure that other insurance companies haven't loaded BEC's correctly? Afterall, if you are privy to that information then they must be too?

Although it may be mis-quoted, the insurance policy will still be valid, so provided it's on a like-for-like basis shouldn't you at least match it if not beat it?
