Where do people go for insurance?

I need to get the modded 944 insured now.

Been with Adrian Flux for the Jag, but thats gone now, and Flux dont bother to answer the quote line phone.

they managed to quote me, and a mate that has a modded VW Camper - there was an Adrian Flux bloke on here for a bit - can't recall his user name.

Hi,
I'm surprised you haven't been able to get through to ourselves. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back if you wish.
Regards,
Dan.

Try A plan, very good with kits so I'd assume the same for modifieds- https://www.aplan.co.uk/

Cheers Dan you have a pm.

Thanks Nick, I’ll get a quote from A Plan.

Musr be my age catching up, spent the day waiting on phones, and getting generally pi$$ed off.

I'll 2nd A Plan, I have 2 cars insured with them, I got a far better price than with Adrian Flux and found the staff really friendly

Give David Auden and Associates a try as well. Do my trials car with them and they are competitive as far as I know.

Madinventions - 14/3/18 at 12:33 AM

3rd vote for A-plan. They just did my kit car and my rather heavily modified track car for a very good price!

bonzoronnie - 14/3/18 at 07:49 AM

Number One son uses A plan for his highly modded Subaru Imprezza

He swears by them, agreed valuation & all mods declared.

russbost - 14/3/18 at 09:19 AM

another vote for A plan!

Mash - 14/3/18 at 09:38 AM

Yup, definitely A Plan

Have my Transit with them and I moved to them when A F quoted me a huge increase for fitting a second row of seats. a Plan beat them easily

Have my Indy and my ST170 with them and they were better than the opposition by far.

tegwin - 14/3/18 at 09:44 AM

Surely thats a classic now... Try MSM, theyve insured both my modified TVRs over the years at very reasonable prices!

Went from Flux to A plan, they couldn't get near on price. Also use A plan for the tin top

It's not just me then? Hospitals are the pits for admin

overdriver - 14/3/18 at 01:03 PM

Yep, A-Plan for me too on both my Tiger and X type tin top. I had used Adrian Flux until they quoted an extortionate figure on Jag - £621 which is well over twice what I pay with A-Plan!

Michael.

Just gone with A-Plan .. saved a few quid off my renewal
