Just declared, at renewal, that I've replaced the 75bhp 1.4 CVH with a 170+bhp 2.0 ST170 in the Quantum.
So what happened?
The renewal went up from £105 to £ 114 fully comp!!
Nice one A-Plan

my renewal has gone down every year - now about £80. Still about £2 a mile though!
how comes everybody else seems to get a good deal from Aplan and i dont my kit was about £160 to insure with them and i used to have my tin top with them but that was just getting ridiculous i halved the premium going elsewhere

We have always found Graeme Sykes to be reliably competitive and good to deal with over many years. You have to phone up and have a conversation!
I’m with A plan and they called me to say my insurance is due soon, I told them I had fitted a turbo, he says ok give me a minute and put me in hold for a couple of minutes. Yes sir that will increase from £110 to £132, well considering it’s going to take power from 115bhp to around 230bhp that’s not a bad price. They also did not ask anymore about the turbo, “it’s got a turbo, ok” that was it.
