New project

Hi all,

Well, over a year since the locost was sold, i have finally got a new project!
She is a 1971 Triumph Toledo 1300. I went to view it yesterday and is actually more solid than it looks in the pictures.

She has been off the road for a while so needs a bit of recommissioning and some welding but its not too bad.

One i have been told is it must be fitted with headrests before the missus will sit in it which is a shame as the seats are as new. Is there such a thing as aftermarket headrests for classic cars or am i looking for new seats?

Get a pair of classic seats with headrests, buy some brown leather and get the missus to re-trim them!

You could always cut the wife's head off, then she rest it in the foot well.

Iv been doing some searching and it seems rover 45 seats fit straight it with hardly any mods but a slight loss of rear leg room. That gives me an option of cloth, leather or heated!
