I may be interested in purchasing a Daihatsu parts donor (if it stays below or around the £50 mark!), but don't envisage myself regularly buying
anything from copart.
Anybody here with an account that could do it for me? Car ends in <48 hours hence no other option.
Obviously would transfer all cash up front + beers or monetary beer equivalent.
Thanks
Ive looked into joining but theres a £50 reg fee and when you buy a car theres a hammer fee, loading fee, internet usage fee..
I just missed a 10 plate, yes 2010 Jimny go for £75
Do you have to be a trader to join Copart?
Dont think so for cat C & D but you need to be a breaker with certain certs for cat B.
The urgency of the matter has just significantly increased, as the rear right wheel fell off my car yesterday during an autotest!!!
The stub axle sheared off, looking at the failure, there must've been a crack in it already as half of the surface area where it sheared had been
contaminated with oil.
So I'm really desperate for that spares donor now!!!
I'm aware of the hammer fees and collection fees and internet bidding fees etc. but if it ends at £50 it'll still work out cheap for me!
I was going to join and they dropped the £50 joining fee down to £29, my uncle has an account and has a recovery business, but you dont need to be a trader.

Hi Steve,
Let me know what you see and i can ask him.
Cheers Keith, I'm just after the axles and props so he can keep the rest if he wants it.
I'll keep an eye on the auctions and see if one pops up again in Peterlee.
No problem Steve
