Hi All
I have returned from the darkness. Built 2 Locosts between 2002 and 2004 with a friend. We both still have them too. Mine has been mothballed since
the child arrived in 2008 but I feel its time to get things tidied up and running again. It's an original 'book' Locost with a 1700
crossflow and many home made bits. Just looked and my old photo archive is still there thanks Chris!
The car has been to the South of France on a road trip and plenty of shows back in the day.
There are people at work that doubt its existence and I need to prove them wrong.
Anyhow, that's where we are. I hope I can get out this summer (covid permitting)

Good to hear, i'm only 8 in...
Greetings Marcus!
Long time, no see!
Glad to hear all is well.
Remind me, was it you who put the grinder through your thigh? I've told that tale many a time to people I see dicking about with them!
Cheers,
James
Taken from Marcus pics, and i do remember Miss Newark, not a classy lass, i seem to recall
I believe that Marcus and his next door neighbour/friend built two cars together,
and i do remember the Stoneliegh and Newarks shows mainly, were both were there in their cars, and not disimilar to mine
steve
Hehe, good to see a few familiar faces still here
Yes, thats my leg in the pic...damned fool. I was over a Roland's house working on the car whilst his family were having a birthday party
inside.
I had to break up the party and get him to take me to hospital....happy days...
It was the early Newark days with Steve M's car and James Hicost which inspired us to build ours in the first place.
Hi Marcus
Was it you who bought my 'spare' Escort when I made the stupid decision to break the Mexico?
I finished the Locost eventually. No that's wrong. I got on the road. It's not finished and never will be, but it does work!

Hi Jeff
Yep, that was me. Drove it back from Derby slightly illegally
Would have been better restoring it, worth silly money now....was quite solid really, just a bit tired.
Good to hear you got yours up and running
Hey Marcus it's been a while, hope you and the family are OK and of course not forgetting Roland.
I sold the MK after 14 years back in 2015 and really miss the meet ups and laughs at the shows, good luck on the recommission of the car it's a
top book build.
