Should I sell it.....?
richard thomas - 17/10/09 at 05:41 PM

As above really....it struck me today that I've only managed to drive it a handfull of times this year - can't find the time!

Plus I do sometimes hanker after a nice Mk1or 2 Escort/Opel Monza GSE/Jag XJR/numerous other cars as the mood takes me.

However the BEC market is a bit saturated at the moment....

Might be getting the 4 year itch......

55ant - 17/10/09 at 06:09 PM

nope.

richard thomas - 17/10/09 at 06:12 PM

Fair point!

55ant - 17/10/09 at 06:17 PM

i think everyone has a nagging feeling during the winter, but it is a toy, also maintaining/modding etc is all part of the fun. maybe book a track day? like most things the best way to justify it is spend more money on it!

Ben_Copeland - 17/10/09 at 06:20 PM

If you can afford to keep it, keep it. You'll only regret it in the end.

Otherwise sell it to me for £100

02GF74 - 17/10/09 at 06:29 PM

I'll give you £ 300 and half a packet of chocolate digestives.

To be honest it's not costing me anything to keep, but I do have a wandering automotive eye....knew I shouldn't have read that Classic Ford mag today.

Dilemma, dilemma......

you are very sensible, jaffa cakes are safe

anyway, back to the bidding. £ 500, two packets of white chocolate cadbury's fingers and three packs of Fox's Chocolate Viennese Biscuits.

Ninehigh - 18/10/09 at 06:31 AM

Get a roof on it for winter then the rain won't matter and you can drive it much more next year

Otherwise I'll go 3 packs of Jammie Dodgers, 6 wagon wheels, a twin pack of Lemon and Lime Jaffa cakes, chocolate orange digestives and (if I can find them) a pack of Toffifee
