Everything is expensive over there but soooo worth the money. Definatley the best country i have ever been to (and iv been to a few )

To give you an idea, when we went, we did 3000 miles in 9 days and spend 2k on everything including fuel (i think 1k on fuel and 1k on food/drink etc) and there was two of us.

My dad lives in Stavanger and lived in Oslo for a while (he's a Draughtsman for the rigs).

As the others say expect to pay double the usual price for a drink, and it wont be a pint. (and the lager is crap). However, its a beautiful place and once you get used to Noggies strange sense of manners the people are lovely too. Tell her to watch for the way the Noggies all get up before the plane has stopped - Norwegians DONT do queues

I love the place. Its a shame I'm too old to get the old git to pay for my flights any more

Oslo a bit rough in centre (like all cities) but famous Vigeland sculture park, Viking Ship museums, Kontiki and Antartic museums make up for it.
Beer, food very exspensive, trams very cheap.
Last time i was there saw few 7's about!
Love Norway.
