Bought a copy of Total Guitar today and noticed Dragon Force - Through the Fire & Flames (posted by Flak Money a few weeks ago) has just been
voted best solo of the year by TG readers. And it's fully tabbed out.
Chance of me being able to play it - Nil but great solo all the same.
Just for those who might be interested.
Bought a Korg Pandora 4D last week for on the move practice & jamming and Boss bring out this little beauty at only £150ish in the shops.

My timing as ever - crap.
Anyone want a cheap Pandora 4D
It honestly doesnt suprise me...DF are certainly very talented musicians. Dream theatre are also very good.

i prefer the song to the solo myself. To thrashy for me, i prefer more melody. Great song though.
@ hellfire
Going to the manchester apollo eh?
Dream theater are good but dragon force is a little excessive i mean really...
Stream of consciousness a very good instrumental track

ya they are cool. im still pissed off i was passed out in a tent when they were on stage at download. then i got offered a free ticket but it was in
wales of all places i think, either way i wouldn't make it.
Basically its yet another band i keep nearly seeing but then miss because god hates me
John
not bad, but no Richie Blackmore!
I like some of dragon forces stuff, but i find a lot of it quite samey.
Dream evil are great although some of the lyrics can be utter rock cheese (Like book of heavy metal) but are still good.
Saw Bullet for my valentine the other week in edinburgh. Was shapping up to be a good gig, but Mat Heaffy blew his voice out so gig got cut short.
On an asside was in "Opium" in edinburgh on friday (rock pub (ish)) and got the DJ to play Andrew WK's "Party Hard". Ah, the
black lace of rock. I like it anyways.
