Traders insurance
What sort of price would you expect for a 22yo on a traders policy?
Iv had a couple of quotes of around £1500 which seems rather steep.

I just phoned tradex (spoke to a very rude woman) who said they would not insure me if i was working on just a few cars per year and she said most
companies would have the same policy. Do i have any other options to drive other cars (my tintop insurance doesnt cover any other vehicles)

Depends on your insurance wording...
A couple of the smaller companies offer fleet/family insurance... might be worth chatting to the specialists and see what they can offer you?

traders or multi-car policy?
IIRC, traders mean that you can drive cars not owned by you for any length i.e. you buy/sell cars as opposed to owning several cars - multi-car
insurance policies exist for that.
For example. I have 3 cars, 2 of whcih are not you run of the mill tin boxes hence none of the above are any use for me.

i dont think youl get the drive any car third party on your policy untill your 25. Mine was removed and they gave i back when i was 25. I think its
some cack new law.
As for the Rover. Just drive it round the corner.
