Someone is taking the Pi$$

I just had a letter today for renewal on the Mondeo....

Last year i paid just over £500 with breakdown etc...

This year they (Express Insurance) quoted my £1200 - but dont worrk i dont need to do anything, as they will take the money using the same details as last year!

WTF?? Why has my insurance doubled? Ive had no claims, have 10 years NCB, am 31 years old and have had the car for three years! Theiving fkers.

Just done a search, and Asda online quoted me £400.

remember - you get what you pay for, the cheapest insurance isn't necessarily the best.......... on the other hand, 1200 quid, i'd want stuff gold plated and hand delivered.

This seems to be the norm,..... I guess 60% of people dont check and just let it renew!

Nearly fell foul of that with Bennets for the bike. Got exactly the same cover for 1/2 price elsewhere. If I hadn't have checked it would have been automatically renewed. I now make a point of specifying no auto-renewal.

I got exactly the same, renewal came through at 5 times the last years price with no claims. Instead i got insured with the AA for a third of what i paid last year so its all about shopping around

I insured my Harley with Ebike, cost £138 which included breakdown cover. Renewal came through at £650, neadless to say they did NOT get my business. Insured on line for £138 again with another company. Cheers Ray
