A Plan Kit Car Insurance
Just a note to say how impressed I have been with A Plan, being a young (26) Kit Car driver.
Dealt with Jamie Kirk (01635 874646) from A Plan and managed to get what I feel is a great price for my GBS Zero which will be going through IVA in
the coming weeks.
Most impressively the plan covers me to drive to and from the IVA test (or any company doing the IVA on my behalf so long as it is booked in with
them), all just on the chassis number.
So, for comparisons sake my specs are:
26yr old male.
3000miles/year
GBS Zero 2.0 litre (soon to be) 15 reg
Estimated value £15,000
Garaged.
Including legal cover.
Total £259.
I'm chuffed. That is all folks.

Yes, I will be getting agreed value set up once registered and the car is looking better ! (once the ally protective wrap has been taken off etc.)
Good prices, sounds like 150-300 for most age ranges then....

I've been with A plan for a couple of years after getting a classic car policy for my mustang but then transferring it to the kit when I sold
the mustang.
Been pleased with the price and service, just got my renewal at 225.

I have also just moved from fluxas well, saved £50 straight away and £400 cheaper on the excess.
Excellent service
Just a quick question is an agreed value needed?
Drive it stright sideways

Insured ready for IVA now. £180 with a £50 excess. Very happy with that considering age and claim history, even though claims were none fault they
still go against you.

Another vote for A-plan, I'm currently with Adrian Flux at the moment (up for renewal soon) and paid around £470 as I was only 23. Phoned up
Matthew at A-plan today and came in (including winter modifications from last time - extra 60BHP) to £279... including breakdown cover and legal fees
with 1500 limited mileage and £5000 value. So for a young driver at 24, I think that's pretty good!

oops misread your question! well the letter i got after the agreed value was excepted was i'd be payed out the value agreed, so i'd say
well worth having, as i don't have to haggle with the value!
I asked for it as it's not included, they sent me a form and i had to email over about 7 current photos, wasn't any extra to do

Another thumbs up for A Plan insurance. Very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to kit cars
£145 fully comp, 3K miles, £8K value, BMW 2.8 Haynes Roadster and an extra £45 for full UK and European breakdown cover. Happy with that

Last time I was on the road I used A Plan, the price was great. I took out breakdown cover and needed it, low loader turned up quickly (and one low
enough for the kit car, crucially) and it was all sorted out very quickly. I'll be using them next time I get back on the road.
