Build Insurance???

Is there such thing as build insurance? If so who does it?

I came home yersterday and found my rear kitchen door had been smashed in......T.V, Laptop, Apple T.V, Expensive watch etc. etc. all in all about 7k's worth of stuff gone.

My MK tooked safely in the garage, but now they have been in the house they prob know I am likely to have something in the garage. (moved it temp to the ex-wife's) but still had it have gone it's not insured!!!!

Pete.

I think I got a discount for being a member of BEC owners or MK owners, one of the two although they never asked me for any sort of confirmation?

Hi,

I've insured my build with Footman James, £42 for the year which I thought was quite reasonable.

sorry to hear about the brake in i was done 18 months ago and i was in bed!! ! ! !

as for the car get one of those steel posts that you concrete in to the floor i dug a huge hole in the drive in front of the garage door and bolted up some scaffolding joiners in the bottom before concreteing it all down. i hid the spare key and take the other up out of the way so im the only only person who can open garage door.
it might get you a discount on your insurance to.
