selling the chasis aint illegal but using the V5 on a different vehicle surely is unless it has been re chasised after an accident
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

It looks like a hybrid between a Dutton Melos rear end and a Dutton Phaeton S4 front end.
I am not surprised that the chassis is ok they are very substantial, the early ones show some heritage with the Lotus Sevens. And frankly i dont
believe the chassis has lost its identity because you fitted the front to another car because your selling most of it and the front of a Dutton is so
unique it would only be of any use on another Dutton. More likely you are using the log book for your own build to avoid the IVA and some of the new
laws on lights, seatbelts, windows, mirrors etc.
If you want a car registered as a Dutton then drive a Dutton they are very good cars when built properly and still competitive on club events, if you
want a Locost then do it legally and prove to us all your up to the job.
sometimes you are the pigeon, most of the time the statue.

I wonder what has been regestered as a dutton now
whatever car needed repairing with that part of the chassis top rail, which i guess happened to have a chassis number on it

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
