Wouldnt it be good if....
You know how when you have your kit all built up and on the road, you normally have to keep in a garage. Inside that garage is your tools etc that you
used to build the car, stuff that would took ages to collect and would be sorely missed if stolen.
Wouldnt it be good if you could get your car insured and for a small premium extra also cover the contents of your garage.
It would be worth compiling an inventory and taking photo's of all your tools for the insurance. I know its virtually impossible to list
everything (eg i have hundreds or indivdual taps in old baccy tins that would be expensive to replace), but a main list with supporting pics for
sundry items would be useful if you ever did have to claim.
Ive never checked my household policy to see if there is a limit for garage items. I keep my power tools in the house loft to limit what is in garage
but one of my boxes is worth a fortune on its own (Snap-on).

Thats a good idea. Photos of all the items would help in the event of a claim.
By the way, what is your address Darren?
Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

I'd have thought it came under the contents part of house insurance but better make sure of how much is covered.
Something I'm going to have to check in the future too cos knowing me £500 of welder will get stolen and the insurance doesn't cover items
over £300. And it'd be mid build too
