Laid up Insurance

Hi Guys,

As my car is not going to see the road this years, I'm thinking of putting it on a laid up insurance policy. The only reason I may want to take the car out this year, is to get it MOT'ed, as it is due one in August. The question is can I switch from laid up to full cover and then back again, or would I be better to get a short term policy to cover it while going to and from the MOT station.

Cheers

Scott

Why not let the MOT lapse and then do it a month or so before you intend to use it?

Probably the easiest option.
