Tech Help Needed - Mac to HDMI input

Hi guys,

Hoping someone will know what to do with this! I have been using my Powermac g5 through a DVI to HDMI adaptor into the back of both my 42" LG and 24" Phillips TV. They both worked fine but the picture was always much better than with the 24". With that in mind I went to buy myself a new 'proper' monitor and ended up getting a 22LG3000 full HD LG 22" tv with 2 HDMI inputs. For some reason though now I can't get a picture through my trusty adaptor. Is there something different about this TV's input?? I don't really want to have to go and buy more adaptors or use the VGA on the TV but if I have to I'm open to the idea......
Please help!
Thanks,
Oli.
