Laid up cover

Which insurance companies offer laid up cover?

Phoned Adrian Flux today to change my renewal to just be laid up cover for the winter and they wanted £250 with £350xs at an agreed value of £10k just to cover it for fire, theft and damage while its sitting in the garage!

Needless to say, they havent got the business!

Who else should I call?

You could try 2gether - see their link at the top of this forum section.

They seem keen to have our business, unlike some insurance companies... (don't forget to mention LocostBuilders during the conversation).

Might as well be build up cover for all it matters.

The car is slowly reverting back to its original form, its got no front suspension, no engine and only half the bodywork! Bit sad actually.

I will try 2gether next week.

probably looks about the same as mine at the minute then, no engine, no bodywork, no seats, no dash, no boot or cover, engines in bits!

very depressing
