Insurance for an M5 (ok ok not a kit I know!)

Struggling to get a decent price this year.

Best so far is Elephant but thats only about £50 cheaper than my renewal from Admiral (who I know own Elephant).

Flux can't get near either of these prices.

Tried the usual confused, compare the market.

Guess I'm only going to do better with specialists but the question is... where to start?

Don't want to spend years on the phone so any recommendations?

on my m5's and m3's i have not been able to beat admiral in the past and i always use the multi car policy which makes it cheaper.

Direct line have always been good for me especially considering I'm only 26 and have a thing for quick cars.

Try giving Chris Knott a ring. Got my VXR and van with them and they are very nice people to deal with.

swiftcover have been the cheapest for me, stayed with em for the last 3 years, been at least 60 quid cheaper than nearest quote year on year.

also heritage may be worth a try, if the cars a few years old you might be able to get it on a classic policy

Ended up renewing with Admiral, frank pickles never got back to me and Chris Knott said they can do very good policies on VXR's and Civic Type R's but not cars like M5's or Evo's etc.
