Fully comp or parts only???

Going to insure the Indy this week & not sure what to do so thought I would ask here,we all know fully comp but if you have a crash in a kitcar with labour the car may get written off, also would I want someone else fixing the car? Parts only would reduce the risk of the car being written off but is more hassle, down to me ect. Comments pls.

Fully comp for me.

Then im covered if 'I' shove it into a ditch and i dont think i would be up for reparing the car for some time after and would rather just let someone else sort it

I have Comprehensive but with a Parts Only clause.

If the damage is my fault then parts will be paid for and any work that I can't do myself. eg welding, paintwork, tracking etc

Ive got fully comp with parts only as I would rather fix the car myself and suspect that as its a home built car if the chassis was damaged it could be written off if I relied on a garage to repair it.

I have fully comp with parts only with 2gether as well. Mines is a scratch build and everything is home/hand made. NO ONE ELSE could would want to sort it anyway. If they did the time costs would be extrondinarilly huge.

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Parts only for me,up to an agreed high value.i'm the only muppet i'd have touch my baby anyway, and i'm sure you wouldn't be handing in receipts from breakers so i reckon there may be room for a sneaky upgrade here and there should the worst happen!

Our Indy is parts only too (with 2gether). As a lot have said, we wouldnt want anyone else fixing it anyway.
