Yep, congratulations Danny. I watched the race on Saturday, but wussed out on Sunday.. it was looking very wet! (Danny I spoke briefly to you as you were heading out to qually and popped in the MK gazebo later on, but you weren't about)

I saw Danny Bird's accident at Sunny out.. was quite a clout into the tyres.

What happened to Garry Watson on Sunday? it looks like he never started the race?

Also Danny Birds crash, in Danny Keenan's old race car, shame he looked to be going well up to that point

Yes that westy had some grunt down the straights, compared with the busa powered Indy

Not any old standard Indy Busa either.
From memory, Danny K's car was pushing out around 230 bhp, which really puts the Westy's straight-line speed into perspective.
175 bhp at the wheels is quite swft enough for me thankyou.
I would guess Danny B's expletives immediately following the 'off' were followed by those of his wallet saying, "Ouch! That's gonna hurt."
Good to see he walked awy from it though.

Although its Danny Keenans old car Bob, its not got his engine fitted, its just a stock 1340cc Busa so around 190bhp, looking at the lap times both him and the Westy laped in around 1m 31s, so although the westy was quicker in a straight line, the Indy was quicker through the bends

Cam's car has a Duratec fitted, probably 260bhp .. or maybe a bit more..

I think Garry Watson's car is more impressive. A live axled Zetec Westy doing 1-26s round Croft. OK.. it's some special 2.1 Zetec mated to a sequential box, but the rest of the car is nowt special.... Of course it could be the driver..

Is Danny Bird's car repairable, do we know? He was going well up to the whump.

Yes Garry Watson looks a top driver, he had car problems on the Sunday, but I think Danny would have give him a good race on Sunday in the wet, I know he likes it when it rains.
Not sure on whats required yet on Danny birds cars, but I am sure they will have him back on track for the next race

after saturdays race he was having trouble with his clutch so went home.

Sunday was definitely a day to be indoors. I watched the Touring cars on TV.. and that was wet too!

No video footage from the race Danny?
