BMW Z3 (sorry, blingy wheel alert!!)
Hi guys,
I've never bought a new set of wheels in my life, but here goes!!
Bought the wife a Z3 the other day then swiftly took it on a trackday, just to make sure it was OK for her
The thing's screaming out for some better wheels / tyres. The front tyres are old and cracked and the rears are crappy budget things. Then I
spoke to a mate and his dad has a set of nearly new Bridgestones off his Z4 (225/40/18 fr, 255/35/18 Rr) going begging so it seems a no brainer to get
a set of 18" rims.
I'm fancying these in staggered 8"/9" fitment for there nice retro deep dish and am thinking the black centre with it been a silver
car?
Or this as a more track looking wheel?
Sorry again for the blingy nature of this post, I will return to normal soon

I prefer the last ones. What size are the standard wheels? From my experience the best way to completely muck up a cars handling is put bigger wheels
on it.

It's currently on 16's (225/50/16) and I'll probably keep them for trackdays tbh, just with some better / safer tyres on the front
I would've probably just gone to 17's but the offer of some cheap 18's brought the Yorkshire/LCB'er out in me

I've got a set of 5 BMW original BBS alloys taking space in the garage... Will need a refurb tho.
Had thought about getting them refurbed and sell, but if you're interested I'm open to offers

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

From experience these look great at standard right on 17s but need a bit of lowering of going to 18s

Ta, I'll be putting some coilovers on it soon. They'll allow me to get the height right but I'm not sure my fillings will thank me!!

As much as I hate myself for saying this, what does the wife prefer?!
