Bye Bye Miller.....
Yeah sadly here's the reality of the North Sea oil, yet other platform lifted off in the space of a few months
I was doing the scheduling for the crane maintenance on Miller only a year ago...
That's the accommodation and helideck being lifted off, the rest comes off next year to go to Norway to be broken up
Also did the scheduling for the S7000 crane barge when I worked for Saipem, the director had a model of it in this office in a glass case. It's
quite big...

I served my apprenticeship on the Miller when it was in the Wallsend yard. Never been on it offshore though, but many others.
Now I feel old!!
