Smith's / VDO / ETB sensor comparability
Hi all.
I did a little search and didn't find much.
I'm swapping out my analogue Smith's dials for ETB DDL2. Originally I was hoping I can just use my current sensors, but now I am not so
confident. Does anyone have a source of sensor compatibility. ETB has some, and I may just end up giving them a call.
Just thought I would ask on here as they are not open at 23:40 on a Friday night, shocking!!
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

I thought the etb stuff was very flexible excepting both Hall and Vr affect sensors. I even used the ford gearbox sensor on my etb analogue gauge. It
was then just a case of setting it up. Ie pulse/ mile.
I was thinking about getting the ddl2 for this one.

I too used the Ford Gearbox sender for the speedo, it works fine and passed IVA, however occasionally when I am stationary and switch on the lights
the speedo needle jumps up to about 10mph. I was advised by ETB to use shielded cable which I did. This improved things but it still happens.
