Dont worry too much about the reaction times Tom. They will get better and mine are crap too.

They moved us off the egg shell after my 1st 2 runs so had no grip for the rest of the day. I reckon I could have got a couple of 1/10's out of that time.

i was dissapointed at the lack of grip in the middle lane too. why did they move us off?

if you compare the 60ft times of run 2 and run 4, taking the reaction time from the 60ft time, it shows there was a clear 2 tenths to be gained on the eggshell (.221s to be exact) and that's with my beast just think what you'd have gained!

am dissappointed that the lupo GTi thrashed me, but he did have a definite power to weight advantage. think he said his was putting out 115bhp, which is no match for my 75.
he ran a 16.06, with 98.02 terminal speed, so i was never any competition really. i bet cj murty though - he's steve murty's son!

there's always next time i should have some 13s by then too.

Tom,

I heard we got moved off the egg-shell surface because it was getting ripped up. I didn't see this though, did you?

I fitted a new fuel pump today. Rated up to 50gal/hr so its massively bigger. Im now going to get a progressive controller and then chuck an extra 100hp into my motor. Target by the end of the year is to get into the 10's.
