Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic.

welcome to the mad house...
Had my viento for a year now..
slow going as I only get 1 to 2 hrs in on a sunday if I am lucky , but it will be worth it in the end..
enjoy.....
Best advice I can give is when some thing starts to go wrong or seems impossible - go and have a pint and come back to it the next day - It then
seems straight forward..

I will have had my Viento a year come November.
Its getting there, and has taken much longer than expected.
I have previously done two restorations on a pair of Lightweight Land Rovers. Difference is with them, everything fits and has its place (well nearly
and within LR's 1/2" tolerances ) .
With the Luego, you have to make it fit (well not everything) and decide where to place it. The placing takes a lot of thought, as you dont want to
jeopardize the positions of other items. Also take into account heat from exhaust etc especially where brake /fuel pipes and wiring is concerned.
Still Its been a year of fun, along with the ups and downs.
When you get a problem, take time, or leave it alone for a few days, or ask on here. There is always a solution, and often more than one way of
solving it!..
Most of all Have fun, and get it right.
A well buit car, is a tribute to the skill and care of the builder. More than that, when done preoperly, it should be a safe car to drive.
Good Luck with the build... and dont give up.. We have all been there sometime!
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards
Geoff
