Clearing files / passwords
Tomorrow is my last day at work, new job on Monday. My current company are unlikely to re-format my computer before the next user arrives.
When windows offers to remember my password (for here, another forum and ebay) I said yes. How do I clear that file / cache? I have tried deleting
the history / cookies files.
Any where else I should look?

Delete the profile
login as the administrator to the PC (local Admin) and then delete your user profile. that will remove all of your details

Sorry, should have said, I'm a complete computer idiot, one finger typing etc.
Can you give me an idea of how to log in as an administrator?

Try:
Go to C:\Documents & Settings
and then into the directory that has your username
Delete everything in sight under that directory
Log out and then back in...hopefully it will detect a faulty profile and refuse to load it...

If you use Internet Explorer...
Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu.
Choose the Content tab on the options dialog.
Choose the AutoComplete button in the Personal information section.
Click both the Clear Forms and Clear Passwords buttons.
Job's a good'un.
No need to delete your profile unless you really want to. If your place uses roaming profiles, the server will have a copy anyway and if anyone was
interested in your personal use of the company PC they could get the info back. I'd be more inclined to not trash it as people are more likely
to try to find what you were trying to hide. Leave it working and they'll just not bother.

with all respect, please be careful if you choose to do this as this is where all your documents and pictures are.
I think Steve means just the files, not any directories in here!
