Rolling Chassis
Hi All
You've probably heard this all before, but i'm looking for a rolling chassis, any seven type vehicle really. I'm In
northamptonshire, and really want to get into the kitcar scene. I work as an engineer, and will be putting a lot of time and effort into any project
people, need (or have to) to give up. It will be going to a loving home. Any ideas please let me know, and prices too!.
Oh and I am constantly watching ebay too, so no links to there thanks
Many thaks in advance!
Neil

Just curious?
Why not build one yourself? That's half the fun - getting donors sorted and the chassis?

If you believe you're not crazy, whilst everybody is telling you, you are - then they are definitely wrong!

Wow fast response, certainly faster than my computer anyway! the main reason I don't build a chassis is although I'm an engineer, my
welding is not dissimilar to a bird Cr*pping for 20,000ft. (may as well be honest).
And as chassis and suspension are quite crucial, I'd like to start from a rolling chassis stage.
But many thanks for answering my post!

This in the trade is generally refered to TWG Welding (Trafalgar Welding Group Welding - as in pigeons) It is not uncommon with novices, but does
improve rapidly with practice. So my best advice is to practice and then as said in the original reply build your own it is much more fun. Honest.
Enjoy.

As you're in Northamptonshire, why not come along to the next Northants Group Meeting, you'd be very welcome. It's held on the 2nd
Wednesday of the month at Overstone Manor.
