I will be going down. Not sure about camping though!!
Which way are you planning to go. I travel down to Coventry most weekends and go through Bawtry onto the A614 then the A46 through to Leicester. This
isn't a bad route but I am happy to go another way if you have a preference, as long as it's not M1. That's just no fun!!
We could perhaps take a detour towards Nottigham to collect Leigh and the down the lanes through to Stoneleigh.
Three orange sevens would make for a convoy!!

What's the parking facilities like (ie. proper tarmac or just grass)?
I was thinking if the nipper doesn't want to go, I'd go by bike so SWMBO still has the tin top.

There is some internal tarmac parking so if you can get inside you would be OK. Failing that the outer parking is a field but hopefully in May it will
be a dry field!!!

Looks like a couple of stops on the way then. Perhaps meet up on the A15 and then down through Lincoln onto the A46 to collect Leigh.
Or we could have a proper drive down the A159, A631, A620, A1, A614, A6097,A46 (collect Leigh) and then finish with a bit of boring M1, M69 and then
A46 and a couple of back lanes from Baginton through to Stoneleigh to miss the queues.
A quick get there or get there with a smile.. Which does everyone prefer??
