gordon h - 4/5/09 at 05:13 PM

had dyno at stoneleigh, have got mk zx9c dyno at fiywheel 137 not bad for 20000 engine. 3 r1 had 138, 139, 152, so i very happy with 137.

For the asking price of £30 I couldn't resist, so gave the old k-series a workout on the rollers. Came out at 141 at the flywheel, which, considering it had the (restrictive..?) standard R1 can fitted was pretty good really.

It was a bit nerve jangling see it screwed up to 7300rpm, but it seems (so far) to have survived it's ordeal without damage....

I didn't get back over to see it in time, but Adi told me about your figures!!!

Well done.

Of course he also didn't forget to mention the whole story

Lol, I was looking under the indy for the oil as it started sounding rather rough! Nice to see another zx9 indy having the guts thrashed out of it.

Not a bad power as you are running standard setup ie airbox/micron etc.

Was that you on the rollers just before my Fury this morning?

Would of liked to have put mine on and see what it made but as moneys tight me and Alan (ajf) tried for a discount for the two cars but he wouldn't move on price so we walked away

They were only doing straight power runs anyway if they had air fuel ratio on the printouts it would of been more tempting!

matt.c - 4/5/09 at 09:30 PM

I donated my £5.

Yup, that was me. Didn't see what yours made, but it sounded really sweet, and the graph line seemed to be going somewhat higher than my old beast......!

It was right out by club area 10, easily missed if you didn't have reason to go out that way. We only stumbled across it because we had some parts to collect from Claire who was on that pitch.

Made 152. Odd thing was, mine going to 14000 never botherd me but others made me wince. Maybe it's just that I've heard mine that many times before Yours sounded a bit strangled but the numbers were impresive enough.

With that sort of power you need to make sure your mudguards are nice and secure ! Wouldnt want them blowing off would you.
