this may seem a silly question, but looking through photos ive taken of different cars some seem to have two fuel pipes runing from the back to the front and some only have one? which do i need? i have a R1 engine being fitted.

With a twin pipe system it's normally for injection engines. As well as a flow pipe they need a return pipe as they are pumping fuel at high pressure and need to relieve the pressure when idling/not running at full chat.
Generally speaking carb. engines don't need that sort of relief as they pump at a much lower pressure hence single pipe. (Except some older supercharged engines like Volumexs which need lots of fuel all round!) Cheers, Pewe
PS forgot to mention that re-cycling the fuel back to the tank also helps it stay cooler i.e. more volatile - less chance of vaporization.
