Anyone know this MNR?
MNR
Yup
No
Is it a good spec for the price? Anything to look out for?
Thanks
Jetto, how's it going? looks like the same spec as ours except the engine, so pretty good for the price.
Going to beford on the 26th so buy it and get it booked
Alright Gareth, yeah it's going well thanks mate, you?
I've been holding out for a Westfield Mega ideally but saw this and thought it looked ok.
Things that put me off are the Quaife reverse box and the fact that the engine only put out 118bhp on a dyno (granted its a carb'd R1 and
that's most likely the power figure at the wheels but I would have thought it should be slightly more than that - restrictive airbox/exhaust
design perhaps)
Pretty good thanks, just busy away designing & testing turbos. Oh got a house renovation on the go too so not much spare time.
118, that is pretty low but you could drive it until you get bored and then stick a busa or zx14 in. I'll weld a craddle up for you.
We don't have a reverse box which is great, efficiency losses etc, but I actually think I'd use it more on the road if it did, even go to
tesco's in it for the weekly shop.
Yeah I'm slowly doing up my house too, painting is rubbish.
I would head up the busa route as it's a Westfield Megabusa that I ideally want. Reverse box is a must for me as I'll be
hillclimbing/sprinting it (regulations suck). It's just some reverse boxes don't have the best reputations! Whatever I end up with I'll
be sure to head up your way in it.

Roadgoing specialist or whatever they call it. I used to have a non road legal locost but it wasn't quick enough in its class so I want something faster that I can also use on the road.

You'll have to be careful with the MNR... are you sure they produce 20 cars a year?
