My friend has just failed the IVA on emissions.
It is a Mini with a ZZR1400 engine in the boot. It does have a CAT but is still running rich and failing. Has anybody had experience with this - and will leaning out the mixture just with a power commander be enough?

Suggestions please

What were the readings? Knowing that allows you to make an educated guess as to where the problem is.

HI had a test today with said engine (zzr1400) has a cat and a power commander and was set up on a four gas got it all nice and hot and tried it was failing on co and lambra tried a few times and when we had just about given up tried one more time and suddenly all went as it was for a short while(just long enough for it to get a pass but then it all went out again)lucky we was or what!!!!! chap was really good failed on two edges and a no plate backing!!!!! retest on thurs ya hoo.!!!!!!!!!!!!
