I bought a part built Luego Viento and I am going over everything the previous owner did. Excuse my somewhat simplistic questions and lack of terminology. I am new to this.

My front hubs look like this and I would like to try this electrolysis on them but I don't know how to get the spinny bit off. Should I take this apart to grease the bearings? is it wise to electrolysis this item. The action is smooth however. Also I am missing some of the threaded bolts that the wheel nuts attach to. Can these be bought.

I think they are from a granada, well the previous owner said the rear diff is and the car has discs all round, vented front, standard rears

I would just hammerite the hubs and wheel studs are available from here

Sierra, granda's had 5 wheel bolts, just a later donor.

To get the spinny bit off look on the back side, prise out the dust cover and a nut lives below.

IIRC the N/S is a left hand thread?

When I stripped my donor down, the hub was exactly the same as yours.
Just do it in the electrolysis as is. The grease inside should prevent any fluid penetration and any rust will be rid of anyway, regardless of where it is so long as you have a good anode to catch the rust and this is curved around your hub.

I did strip mine after this but it made absolutely no difference at all. I needn't have bothered as it did not require new bearings or anything else. Had to repack it in grease and put back together.
