how do people find these starter motor reverse gears??? are they capable of reversing a bec up a slight slope of as drive way??

Westgarage Engineering do an electric reverse

They claim it will reverse up a gradient.

However I believe (and I'm open being proved wrong) starter motor solutions are very slow (1mph ish) and are designed to obey the letter of the IVA rules rather than being a practical 'everyday' car style reverse.

MK sportscars also do a reverse kit using a starter and a gear ring

And at £275 it's cheaper than MK and about the same price as making one up with a starter motor If only I had known before
