a question:
Is green stuff pads better than std?
Is it really possible to feel the difference in road use?
I am using sierra front brakes and std (lucas) pads, I used 20.64 mm master cilinder, it seems they works (I have to consider they are news only 25 km
so they can't be already "ready" ) but I was thinking if you reccomend me green stuff I will change it. What do you think? Car will be
used only on road.

Greenstuff are harder than standard pads and will resist fading a little better, but on a light car it is doubtful that you need to use them unless you are planning to do a lot of track days. Normal pads are best for road use imo.

I have driven a Tiger with standard pads on and mine which has Green Stuff. The Green stuff and much much better! There is a lot more feel they stop
you better, hardly any brake dust. I would definately recommend them. Just my opinion....

try mintex 1144 pads I've driven cars with standard,hawk,green stuff and mintex 1144s and mintex are the bees knees? but dont change from what you have if what you have does'nt give you problems
Got green stuff on my mondeo with uprated EBC discs and it really stops! At the moment got standard pads on the indy, but going to get some decent ones before the next trackday and see what the difference is.
I had greenstuff pads in M16 calipers on my Fury, and found they overheated rather easily in hard/track driving. I have now upgraded to vented disks
and 1144 pads which seem to be a vast improvement..

greenstuff are a definate improvement over the standard type pads, better feel and bite IMHO
Not a fan of Greenstuff at all. I'll second the Mintex though
Its personal preference - I've only ever driven on greenstuff - so I'm biased towards them.
In 2 kitcars and 1 Elise I have driven with greenstuffs in - they brake perfectly, don't fade and more importantly to me (lazy fekka) -
don't generate much dust.
Whatever you choose - just remember that if there's no servo - your braking is as good as the foot pressing it down

Dont they make a different coloured pad more designed for lighter cars?
I fitted greenstuff on mine from the start so nothing to compare to but i wouldnt say the brakes are outstanding.
Asking about brake pads is a bit like getting recommendations for tyres. You will find out what to avoid but everything in the middle is subjective
imho. Only true way is to try them.

. Mine produced very little dust until they overheated when they produced vast amounts!
