Carbon fibre exhaust end can
AJR - 29/7/15 at 08:04 PM

Hi, here for sale is my Simmi Performance carbon fibre tri-oval exhaust end can.
I bought it last month brand new and has only been on the car 3 weeks.
Reason for sale is that I've had to return to my extra quiet exhaust due to the other half moaning!

Anyway, it has a 450mm long body and fits a 2" (50.8mm) pipe.
It has a removable baffle and is BS approved. It is very well made and extremely light compared to my other exhaust.

For more info please see link below:

I paid £150 for this so looking for £99 posted.

Do you have a video of it running with this can

Hi, sorry I don't as have refitted the old one. I could possibly fit it back on to do it though but may not be until the weekend now

Hi how loud is it? would it be less than 100db

AJR - 30/7/15 at 09:18 PM

I'll refit this at the weekend so that I can get a video of the sound etc. I'll borrow a decibel meter too and see what sort of level it is.
In my opinion it's not too loud, but I'll sort out a video for people that are interested

I've measured the noise at approx a metre and it comes out at around 90db.

Here are a couple of videos:

What revs was that at? If it was 3/4 Max rpm and 45' from the outlet (as at track days and similar to IVA) then its very quiet.

Would you take £90 posted for it? I'm in no hurry, so can save a bit on slower postage....
