Fuel pressure reg
teegray19 - 3/11/13 at 05:44 PM

Would anybody have a fuel pressure reg low PSI 1/5ish?

Willing to pay, free would be any better.

People suggestions on a sutiable one from ebay would also be appreciated.

Application is a zzr1100 engine with quite a high pressure pump.

Don't want to use the bike pump as I don't think it will pull or push from the tank.

What does everyone else do???

You definitely don't want to go down the high pressure pump and regulator for this app - it won't work at all. Low pressure bike pump will be perfect
Best regards

Buy a low pressure faucet pump & junk the regulator

Thanks for the responce gents, it flooded the floats in about a second. ive got the standard pump from the bike so il replace the HP pump with this.

I was just slightly worried it may not fill the floats from such a long distance on full chat.

Andy, keep posting the photos on facebook gets me through my working days! Some great engieering coming out of your place!

Get a bike pump, they are the best mate.

As long as the bike pump is gravity fed from the tank it will be OK. Best to mount it at the back low down under the tank.

Bike pumps work the best, also mount it at the tank end. They seem to work better pushing fuel a long distance than trying to draw it through.
