Splitting up long mixes of music?
Oliver Jetson - 4/1/06 at 07:03 PM

Hey up,

I've got loads of long (upto 2 hour) dj's set mixes on my computer in mp3 format. I was wondering if there's any way of breaking it down into separate songs?

Cheers,
Oli

I use Sonic Foundry Sound Forge. It's a wave editor. Roxio do one as well , it comes with the cd burnuing software. I think you can download wave editor programs from the net.

Don't think a wave editor will be much good for mp3 tracks (?) - this might fit the bill from snapfiles: mp3 mega splitter

NERO6 has a cracking audio file editor MP3, WAV etc

Geoff, that mp3 mega splitter is just the thing cheers.

However I've got some wma files that I'd like to split too, but the mega splitter only does mp3, is there any way of converting wma to mp3?

Thanks
