Tartanpimpernel - 16/11/09 at 01:59 PM

Just about to mount my etb digidash2 on the back of my steering wheel which is removeable, can anyone recommend a quick release cable fitting I can use on the back of the dash so I can remove it along with my wheel ?

seen a few on various cars but cant track down what i`m after.

not doing it myself, but that curly wire (telephone type stuff) should sort that out

yep would be the curly wire type as blakep82 mentioned, seems to work a treat.

I have a picture of pretty much the exact setup I`m after on my computer at home, I`ll try and post it up tonight.

could always give ETB instruments a call
01702 601055, they make them.

I got my curly cable there

I've got 2 buttons in the removable steering wheel (shift up / down).
I'm using telephone curly cable and a connector from something audio (4 connectors' jack with a nut on top).

I can take a pic if you want...

thanks george, just looked through the box from ETB and they have a list of accessories and one of them shows the cable I`m after.

if you could shoot me a pic that would be great Joao.

i failed sva with one of them curly wires as it was not secured at the recommended spacings and if it was it would wrap around boss when on full lock fouling the steering! i would imagine iva is same.
