This weather has really made me miss my old car with its propper autobox, does any one have any experience of driving an automated manual in icy conditions as my car tends to change gear and spin the wheels at the slightest change of pressure on the accelerator at the moment. Its my first winter with it and I was curious if anyone had any tips? (I'm sure some guys on here have Alfas with Selespeed and there must be a few others with simillar set ups.)
my old bluebird is an auto and soooo easy to get moving on the ice
I s there no snow setting?
Can't you lock down in 1st?

My auto range rover was ace in snow. Stick in drive and off it went

my twin turbo awd subaru legacy is good fun in the snow! and its an auto!

I've been enjoying the A5 - AWD and Auto.
Shame it has one of those silly electronic handbrakes.

Unfortunatly it doesn't have any sort of snow or ice mode, It also changes up and down in manual mode if it thinks your doing it wrong though it
is fairly easy to keep it in 2.
I really wish I had an autobox and AWD when it was icy, seamless tracktion to all the wheels.
